Fall weddings hold a special place for me, and this one truly did not disappoint. Sasha & Michael's day unfolded at the breathtaking Wickaninnish Inn in Tofino on Vancouver Island, where rugged shoreline and towering trees set the stage for something unforgettable. The ceremony itself was tucked into a large forest of ancient trees, with the sound of the ocean drifting in from just beyond the tree line, a setting that felt both wild and romantic all at once.

The couple came to us wanting blooms that were colourful, yet still carried a moody, autumnal depth, and it was a joy to bring that vision to life. We worked with dahlias, amaranth, zinnias, scabiosa, anemones, anthurium, and orchids, layering rich jewel tones with unexpected texture to create arrangements that felt lush, wild, and completely one of a kind. Every piece struck that balance between vibrant colour and quiet moodiness they were after.

Set against such a dramatic coastal backdrop and beautifully captured by Leah Kathryn Photography, this day brought together colour, texture, and atmosphere in a way that felt effortlessly west coast. Colourful, fun, and full of character, it's a wedding that will stay with us for a long time.
